JEREMY FRANK has established himself as one of his generation’s most respected pianists and vocal coaches. He has collaborated with many of the United States’ major opera houses on productions spanning the operatic repertoire from Monteverdi to Wagner to world premieres of operas by composers Mark Adamo, Daniel Catán, and Michael John LaChiusa.

Jeremy Frank is an Assistant Conductor and the Associate Chorus Master at Los Angeles Opera. He has assisted renowned Maestros James Conlon, Stephen Lord, Carlo Rizzi, Patrick Summers, Pablo Heras-Casado, Grant Gershon and Plácido Domingo, among many others. Mr. Frank regularly works at Wolf Trap Opera Company, and in 2013 prepared Wagner’s Ring Cycle at Seattle Opera. He also assists in the preparation of operas and vocal chamber music at the LA Philharmonic.

Mr. Frank has appeared in recital with David Daniels, Eric Owens, Brandon Jovanovich, Rodell Rosell, Delora Zajick, Kate Lindsey and Sondra Radvanovsky. He also performed with Joyce DiDonato at the 54th GRAMMY Awards, the first time the ceremony featured a performance by a classical singer. He is the Curator and Pianist for the Fine Tuning Recital Series at Wolf Trap Opera Company, where he creates and performs eclectic programs to accompany and illuminate the mainstage repertoire. Mr. Frank has also appeared as a recitalist in the Vocal Colors Series, co-sponsored by the Wolf Trap Opera Company and the Phillips Collection in Washington D.C.

Dedicated to the development of young and emerging artists, Mr. Frank is a member of the faculty of the Domingo-Colburn-Stein Young Artist Program at Los Angeles Opera. He has been a guest faculty member for the young artist programs at Utah Opera and Seattle Opera. He has been a guest coach at the University of Southern California and taught at the Juilliard School, where he was an Associate Coach. In 2012, Mr. Frank was invited by the American Embassy in Russia to teach masterclasses and perform concerts with members of the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Institute in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Mr. Frank is a graduate of several of the country’s premiere training programs, including the San Francisco Opera Center, the Houston Grand Opera Studio and the Music Academy of the West. He received a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance and a language certificate in French from St. Olaf College, MN where he was a National Merit Scholar and Presidential Scholar, graduating summa cum laude. He received his Master of Music degree in piano performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and earned a Specialist Degree in Piano Accompanying and Chamber Music from the University of Michigan, where he was a student of Martin Katz.
